Technical Product Manager – AI/ML

I am seeking a Technical Product Manager with strong AI/ML experience to help define, deliver, and scale AI‑powered products that operate across software, data, and advanced systems.

This role blends product strategy, technical depth, and program execution, and is ideal for someone who began their career in engineering or technical leadership and transitioned into product ownership.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Contribute to long‑term product vision and roadmap development aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Balance near‑term customer commitments with long‑term platform strategy.

AI/ML Product Ownership

• Own AI‑enabled features across the full product lifecycle.
• Translate machine learning capabilities, limitations, and tradeoffs into clear product requirements.
• Support human‑in‑the‑loop and decision‑support product workflows.

System Definition & Requirements

• Translate complex, ambiguous needs into structured scopes, timelines, and user stories.
• Define requirements across software, AI/ML models, data pipelines, and system integrations, including hardware or embedded elements when applicable.

Program & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the central coordination point between engineering, design, program management, sales, and customers.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery expectations across multiple teams.
• Communicate technical progress clearly to non‑technical and regulated‑industry stakeholders.

Agile Execution & Delivery

• Manage and prioritize product backlogs.
• Support sprint planning and milestone execution in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Maintain project clarity using industry‑standard tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or hybrid roles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI/ML‑enabled products.
• Experience delivering complex systems involving software, data, hardware, or embedded systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or MS Project, Miro, Aha!, Office 365 / Google Workspace

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated or high‑performance environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, healthcare, robotics).
• Exposure to AI infrastructure, AI accelerators, or advanced computing platforms.
• PMP or formal program management certification.
• Experience delivering customer‑facing enterprise solutions.
