The client:
We are partnering with a leading investment bank looking to hire a Senior Associate to join its Advisory and Project Finance team in Houston. The team covers the full spectrum of energy and infrastructure across both lending and advisory mandates. The team works with sponsors and corporates on transactions ranging from project financings to acquisitions. This is an opportunity to join a well-established platform with strong deal flow, taking on both deal leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
About the role:
- Develop comprehensive financing strategies and evaluate alternative structures for clients
- Prepare client reports, position papers, and presentations; review and challenge financial models
- Draft term sheets, review project documentation, and negotiate loan agreements
- Lead and contribute to client pitch preparation and presentations
Required experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure, leveraged finance, or investment banking
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Based in Houston or willing to relocate
