Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead for a full-time, on-site role located in McLean, VA. The Java Tech Lead will oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable software applications with an emphasis on performance and reliability. Responsibilities include leading a technical team, implementing microservices, leveraging design patterns, and ensuring adherence to Jakarta EE standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while mentoring and guiding team members.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with strong expertise in Java technologies.
  • Experience in implementing Jakarta EE standards and building enterprise-level applications.
  • Solid understanding and practical implementation of Microservices architecture and Design Patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and Agile methodologies is a plus.
