Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Superintendent located for a company Beaumont, TX. The Project Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities include managing work crews, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with subcontractors, ordering and managing materials, and monitoring the project progress to address and resolve issues as they arise. The candidate will also maintain communication with project stakeholders and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Experience in site supervision, workforce management, and subcontractor coordination
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in construction
- Familiarity with construction-specific software and project management tools
- Effective problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and ensure cost control
- Proven experience in a Project Superintendent role or similar position
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus
- Certification in construction safety or project management is beneficial (e.g., OSHA certification, PMP)
