Harnessing the full potential of Digital and IT in a complex multi-disciplinary organisation requires the ability to think beyond the ‘kit’. That’s why we are looking for a technology leader who can build effective relationships across the organisation to inform and deliver a clear digital strategy that will enhance organisational capacity and support better outcomes for our customers. The emphasis will be on change and people leadership, and a move from being a demand-led service to one that is future-focused and fully engaged in strategic and service planning at the earliest stages.

It’s a role that demands proven experience of leading people through operational and cultural change alongside the presence and gravitas to influence decision-making. You’ll have an informed and current understanding of current and emerging technology and the practical requirements of implementation within a local government setting.
