The Opportunity
TELUS Digital is seeking a Senior Manager – Systems Engineering (NA) to drive client engagement, account growth, and delivery excellence across enterprise systems. This client-facing, consulting-led role balances technical leadership with strategic account influence, discovery workshops, and managed services oversight.
The Senior Manager Will
- Lead end-to-end delivery across North America while coordinating with global teams in LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive clients, translating business needs into scalable, reliable technology solutions.
- Mentor and develop delivery managers, architects, and engineers while promoting best practices in systems engineering and managed services.

- Lead client discovery sessions, workshops, and solution co-creation in Systems Engineering & Support Services, enabling account growth and solution expansion.
- Build trusted relationships with account stakeholders, influencing roadmap and prioritization.
- Partner with Sales/BD teams to identify opportunities, support proposals, and position TELUS Digital as a strategic partner.
- Translate technical delivery plans into tangible business impact for clients.
- Manage delivery of modernization, integration, and managed services initiatives across North America in collaboration with global teams, ensuring quality, SLA adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Track delivery KPIs, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure predictable outcomes.
- Ensure consistent application of delivery best practices across projects.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, ML, and automation tools to improve delivery efficiency and client outcomes.
- Lead commercial pursuits, solutioning workshops, and account expansion initiatives.
- Provide insights into client opportunities, solution design, and managed services adoption.
- Contribute to practice evolution through feedback, case studies, lessons learned, and cross-collaboration with other TELUS Digital offerings.
- Mentor delivery managers, architects, and engineers across multiple accounts.
- Promote a consulting mindset in client engagements: proactive recommendations, business-value focus, and structured problem-solving.
- Support skill development, knowledge sharing, and career growth across North American delivery teams.
- Enterprise application development and integration across legacy and modern platforms.
- Middleware, ETL, and API-based system integration.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices to guide modernization, integration, and deployment solutions.
- Automation and workflow orchestration to improve reliability, efficiency, and predictability.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools supporting the software development lifecycle (e.g., code generation, automated testing, deployment automation, and delivery analytics).
- AI/ML-enabled automation for enterprise systems delivery (preferred).
- Awareness of managed services operations, including SLA adherence, monitoring, incident/problem/change management, and operational KPIs.
- High-level cybersecurity awareness in system design and integration.
- 10–15 years of experience in technology consulting, systems engineering, or IT services delivery, preferably with client-facing consulting experience.
- Proven track record in delivery oversight, client advisory, and operational excellence.
- Experience leading distributed teams or multiple account delivery programs.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to engage confidently with executive stakeholders.
- Understanding of cloud, automation, AI/ML, and platform engineering trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
