Principle Objective:

Enhance Make Up category of the Sephora Collection to drive sales growth and boost brand reputation in China


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Business Plan: Work closely with S+ France and S+ China to develop 3-year marketing plan and annual marketing calendar for assigned category.
  2. Lead launch strategy (MKT mix/ Omni 360) and execution of key product launches together with social/E-commerce/animation team to create and develop yearly master plan including newness calendar, media/digital plan, animation/promotion plan, CRM plan and etc. to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences and achieve the yearly sales and margin target. Publish according to the approved product detail page and advertisement content
  3. Lead hot products marketing strategy and execution to drive the growth of the brand.
  4. Mobilize and work with other departments (Retail, Supply Chain, PR, Design, CRM, Legal, Construction, Animation, Category etc. ) and partner agencies to build broader business strategy, meet the deadlines, such as POG planogram and leaflet design.
  5. Supply Chain management:
  • Lead Hot SKU, Newness and Animation FCST to ensure sufficient stock supply and seamless launch with zero delay or with contingency plan
  • Regularly follow up on sell thru forecast particularly to ensure forecast accuracy and minimize depreciations.
  • Monitor new launches (imported and local goods) on logistics delay and/or QA issues to ensure solution being timely implemented.
  1. Training:
  • Supervise training material adaptation and support China training team for excellent training delivery to meet marketing expectation.
  • Lead TTT for assigned products to ensure BA favorability on brand and products thus to drive sales;
  1. Oversee new products registration and coordinate with legal team to ensure seamless product launches are in line with marketing calendar;
  2. Manage budget (product campaign) to ensure best spending efficiency
  3. Manage market intelligence and conduct regular category analysis incl. sell thru data and market data to identify trend and opportunities outlook for the categories.
  4. Oversee and review creative assigned products’ materials ATL and BTL incl. KV, animation, prints, editorials/advertorials, websites and etc. to achieve high degree of image consistency.
  5. Implement consumer feedback and insights into brand marketing activities and brand equity by analyzing CRM data and market research.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years within PM Marketing in multinational companies in cosmetic or FMCG industry
  • A highly confident self-starter with strong analytical mind and conceptual thinking, strong understanding of brand & positioning and how to identify the right customer engagement.
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Holds high standards and demonstrates integrity with own work. Drive excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English, French would be helpful but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor Degree in marketing related area is preferred, post graduate/MBA is a plus
