Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead Advertiser Education and Product Marketing Programs in China. This role leads a team of marketing professionals, providing strategic direction, guidance on execution, and performance accountability.

The role is ideal for a marketing professional with strong strategic thinking and expertise in either marketing communications or advertising product marketing, who can shape advertiser-facing programs, enable their team to deliver results, and drive measurable impact across Walmart Connect China.

The Senior Marketing Manager will shape the advertiser experience, drive adoption of Walmart Connect products, and collaborate across functions to deliver measurable business impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development plans.
  • Set team objectives, define priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and learning-oriented culture.
  • Guide the team in executing programs effectively, while maintaining overall accountability for results.

2. Strategic Planning & Program Design

  • Define marketing strategy for advertiser education and product marketing, aligned with business objectives.
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans with clear milestones and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program reach, quality, and impact.

3. Program Oversight & Campaign Management

  • Oversee advertiser education initiatives, collaborating with the team to deliver workshops, webinars, certification tracks, and playbooks.
  • Direct product marketing campaigns, guiding the team on go-to-market strategy, messaging, enablement materials, product inbound study and innovation programs.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team, Product, Sales, Analytics, and Operations to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
  • Provide guidance to ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget, and achieve targeted results.

4. Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to track program adoption, engagement, and business impact.
  • Monitor program performance and provide insights to optimize strategy and execution.
  • Use data to refine programs, improve outcomes, and demonstrate measurable impact.

5. Communication & Thought Leadership

  • Marketing Communications Track: Guide the team on messaging, content strategy, multi-channel campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Advertising Product Track: Ensure product knowledge is translated into enablement materials, demo decks, technical guides, and success stories.
  • Serve as a strategic advocate for advertisers, ensuring programs address real-world advertiser needs.


Required Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of marketing experience in digital advertising, e-commerce, or platform marketing.
  • Experience leading and developing a marketing team (2–10 people).
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing communications or advertising product marketing, with measurable impact.
  • Strong analytical skills to track performance and optimize programs.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple strategic initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with China’s digital advertising ecosystem (WeChat, Douyin, e-commerce marketplaces).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, analytics, or campaign management platforms.
  • Experience in global or cross-market product launches.
