Role Summary

The Product Manager will own a portfolio of software solutions at Aliste Technologies, driving end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to optimization. This role requires close collaboration with the tech lead and engineering team to deliver reliable, scalable products that enhance hardware-software integration, while bridging business needs with technical execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership And Roadmap

Define and manage product vision, strategy, and roadmap for software solutions like energy monitoring apps and AI analytics platforms, prioritizing features based on market needs and business goals.

Business and Customer Alignment

Understand business needs and customer requirements; translate them into actionable product features, such as enhanced real-time dashboards or AI analytics, through stakeholder workshops and user research.

Architecture and Impact Assessment

Collaborate with the tech lead to set up scalable software architecture (e.g., AWS IoT Core integrations with Node.js backend and React Native frontend), understand technical impacts, and ensure alignment with non-functional requirements like performance and security.

Task Generation and Timeline Estimation

Generate detailed task lists for development, testing (including edge cases and regression), and production deployment; estimate realistic timelines using agile planning tools to manage sprints and deliverables.

Team Collaboration and Testing

Partner with the tech lead to manage the engineering team, set timelines, guide software testing processes, and ensure clear functional and non-functional requirements.

Metrics and Feedback Analysis

Track usage metrics, customer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT), and regularly analyze customer

feedback via surveys or app reviews to iterate on features like real-time dashboards and bill prediction.startinup.up.gov+1

Customer and Market Insights

Conduct regular customer interviews and competitive analysis to guide enhancements in smart home controls and IoT integrations.

Required QualificationsExperience

• 2+ years in product management, ideally in software/hardware or IoT companies.
• Proven track record managing cross-functional teams.

Good-to-have Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of AWS services: EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, AWS IoT Core, SQS, EventBridge Scheduler, and Amplify.
• Exposure to backend (Node.js) and frontend (React, React Native) development.
• Experience with agile methodologies, testing strategies (edge cases, regression), and metrics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication for stakeholder alignment and executive reporting.
• Analytical mindset for data-driven decisions and problem-solving.

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related.
