About This Position
We are looking for a talented and experienced channel marketer to join our Spanish marketing team, which forms part of our EMEA marketing team and works in close partnership with our Spanish distribution team.
Our EMEA marketing team consists of channel teams that are closely aligned to our regional distribution teams as well as teams with specific expertise in PR, Insight & Product Marketing, Market Research, Events, Studio Design, Digital Marketing and Advertising.
The successful candidate will help us build on the asset growth and increased brand awareness T. Rowe Price has experienced in Spain and Latin America over the past few years.
The team’s remit cover the intermediary segment, made of Fund Buyers and Fund Sellers and we are therefore looking for candidates with strong knowledge of both these segments as well as financial markets and investment strategies generally.
Reporting to Head of Southern Europe Marketing, the focus areas for this role are:
Manage events schedule, Design, plan and execute third party and hosted events from start to finish in line with budget Develop ad hoc marketing materials, in order to satisfy the needs of the internal and external clients Own content distribution via owned and third party channels, gathering metrics to assess ROI and evolve strategy. Work in partnership with SMMs on planning and executing Spain media plans. Plan, execute and measure effective marketing activity across the full marketing mix, with a digital and data-first mindset. Manage relationship with local journalists, in order to continue support brand positioning Take ownership and accountability for specific activity, both assigned and based on own initiative Deliver digital communications; including social, email and online in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager
Role Summary
Contributes substantively to cross-functional teams that develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans that
Position our brand and capabilities with Spanish intermediary channels and Latin American prospects. Analyses multiple data streams and optimizes tactics. Implements plans and processes according to Segment Marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Partners with cross-functional peers and segment leads in the execution of multichannel marketing plans aligned to specific populations of prospects and clients.
- Designs and develops tailor made marketing materials in line with business
- Makes recommendations on specific media and promotional channels to be employed to best promote supported products and services and drive targeted audience engagement.
- Determines appropriate measurement criteria and methods for newly suggested promotional audiences and tactics.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Ability to innovate and deliver bold new initiatives, as well as execute on assigned ones
- Creativity and ability to transform product facts into compelling stories
- Potential to develop and implement data-led marketing strategy
- Good working knowledge of the Spanish intermediary markets
- Broad marketing knowledge, including analysis
- Internal and external stakeholder management ability
- Budget management experience
- PR experience appreciated.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Spanish native speaker and fluency in English.
