About the Company:

NPC DataGuard is revolutionizing SMB cybersecurity with our industry-first, all-in-one managed solution: secure laptops, desktops, and hybrid tablets monitored 24/7 for one low monthly fee. We eliminate data loss, breaches, and downtime, empowering small-to-medium businesses to focus on growth, not threats. Join us to fight cybercriminals one sale at a time where your wins directly safeguard real-world professionals.

About the Role:

Every time you make an NPC sale, you mark it as a win for cybersecurity, and a loss for cybercriminals. You are excited to be a key member of the team who makes that sale happen. We are seeking a highly driven Account Manager to join our expanding team. This role will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and selling to a targeted professional market in the small-to-medium business segment. Through consultative sales and Client needs assessments, you will develop new accounts and increase sales in existing accounts. This role demands a self-motivated, proactive salesperson who drives the full sales cycle from start to finish. Success comes from consistent outreach, follow-through, and a relentless focus on connecting with decision-makers. You thrive on generating leads, managing your pipeline, and maintaining the activity needed to achieve results.

Who will love this job:

  • A Strategic Hunter: You thrive in a dynamic, competitive environment and clearly see the full picture of an account, always recommending the best managed solution that drives both customer security and NPC's revenue growth.
  • A Thoughtful Consultant: You are consultative, receptive, and authentic through complex negotiations and tough client conversations, always seeking to build consensus while upholding the value of a differentiated security offering.
  • A Collaborative Problem Solver: You recognize that exceptional sales outcomes are achieved together. You actively partner with internal teams, share insights, and contribute ideas, testing and refining outreach strategies along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively hunt new business via cold outreach, networking, and targeted campaigns
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with disciplined qualification, consistent follow-up, and multi-threaded engagement.
  • Conduct consultative discovery and needs assessments, deliver tailored demos, and close deals by building trust through responsive, knowledgeable, and empathetic conversations.
  • Own the post-sale relationship, drive successful onboarding, conduct regular satisfaction check-ins, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure high retention and upsell revenue.
  • Accurately track and forecast all activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in our CRM to maintain full pipeline visibility and accountability.
  • Consistently hit or exceed quarterly sales targets and key activity metrics.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years B2B sales success in lead gen, cold outreach, and full-cycle ownership (tech/SMB preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or similar CRM experience.
  • Cybersecurity/managed services knowledge plus proven ability to sell innovative tech by focusing on ROI over features.
  • A post-secondary degree is beneficial, but comparable business experience and proven success are equally valued.
  • Exceptional communication, understanding and can explain new technology concepts to technophobes and the technically literate alike, and it is something you enjoy doing.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The role offers a competitive base salary starting at $65,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of $93,000-$110,000 with uncapped commissions based on performance.
