The ideal candidate will be responsible for the New Product Development for electro-mechanical systems and box builds.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer schematics, drawings, and specifications to design and integrate electro-mechanical systems, Wiring Harness and box builds.
  • Lead end-to-end wiring harness development—from specifications to build and compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform feasibility analysis, risk assessment, cost estimation, and timeline planning for RFQs.
  • Create and manage BOMs; handle ECO/ECN processes to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Prepare production documents including PFMEA, SOPs, and Manufacturing Flow Diagrams (MFD).
  • Manage end-to-end new product development, including prototypes, testing, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex technical and engineering issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project management, quality, supply chain, production) for on-time delivery and compliance.
  • Interact with customers to address queries, incorporate feedback, and meet quality and delivery targets.
  • Develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and cost optimization strategies; drive continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke).
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource optimization to meet quality and output targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics (efficiency, scrap, downtime) and implement CAPA for improvements.
  • Coordinate material procurement, maintain inventory targets, and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Prepare MIS and production reports; support capacity planning and team coordination.


Qualifications: BE - EEE / ECE


Required Skills

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical product development, box-build assemblies, wiring harnesses, and NPI processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and deep knowledge of relevant IPC Standards.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges in a high-pressure setting.
  • Basic electronics and SMT Knowledge and PCB assembly processes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
  • Effective Communication
