Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage sales opportunities for assigned accounts, as well as identify and secure new business within your designated market(s).
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new, high-value customers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with Kinetic’s marketing roadmaps to drive penetration within key target accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring effective communication between customers and Kinetic’s executive team.
- Prepare and present annual sales plans based on market trends, customer insights, and product availability.
- Maintain accurate and timely forecasting and reporting of sales activities and pipeline status.
- Collaborate with product line teams on customer programs, including bids and pricing negotiations, while identifying opportunities for both existing and new product development.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to support effective and profitable account management.
- Utilize CRM tools to track opportunities, manage accounts, and maintain sales data integrity.
- Stay informed on semiconductor industry trends and market dynamics to guide both short- and long-term sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Business, or a related field.
- Engineering background preferred, with exposure to analog and digital ICs.
- Strong technical understanding of semiconductor products.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing profitable accounts.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and sales within the semiconductor or IC industry.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally.
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Minimum of 7 but ideally10 years of experience in sales of IC or semiconductor-related products.
