About the Role


We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager with strong experience in the semiconductor and system design services industry to drive strategic customer engagement and revenue growth. The candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and positioning design services across ASIC, FPGA, Embedded Systems, and Silicon Engineering.


The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of semiconductor design services, EDA ecosystem, and engineering outsourcing models, along with strong relationships in semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, defense, and electronics companies.


The candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and positioning design services across ASIC, FPGA, Embedded Systems, and Silicon Engineering.


Responsibilities


  • Account Management
  • Manage and grow strategic customer accounts within semiconductor, electronics, and system companies.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering leaders, program managers, and procurement teams.
  • Act as the primary interface between customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.


  • Business Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for semiconductor and system design services.
  • Drive revenue growth through ASIC/SoC design, FPGA design, verification, embedded software, and system engineering services.
  • Build and manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and account plans.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.


  • Technical Sales & Solution Positioning
  • Work closely with solution architects and technical teams to position design service offerings.
  • Understand customer design challenges and propose end-to-end engineering solutions.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and technical presentations.


  • Market & Relationship Development
  • Develop relationships with CXO, VP Engineering, and Program Directors.
  • Identify opportunities in automotive, aerospace, defense, AI, data center, and consumer electronics sectors.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.


  • Internal Collaboration
  • Work with delivery, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to help shape service offerings.


Qualifications


  • Experience
  • 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor design services, engineering services, or EDA industry.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales / account management in semiconductor or embedded systems domain.

Good understanding of:

  • ASIC/SoC Design Flow
  • RTL Design & Verification
  • Physical Design & DFT
  • FPGA Design
  • Embedded Software / Firmware
  • System Design & Hardware Engineering

  • Strong consultative selling capability
  • Experience handling large enterprise accounts
  • Ability to manage complex multi-million-dollar deals
  • Strong negotiation and proposal management skills

  • Strong relationship management and networking ability
  • Self-driven and target oriented


Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering / VLSI / Computer Engineering
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
