United by our passion for talent and technology, our colleagues bring their diversity of experience, skills, and insights together to deliver 360° capabilities to our partners. This is how we make the incredible happen, every day.

As a (Industrial) Logistics Manager (Receiving, Warehouse, Distribution and Shipping), you will be responsible for the successful implementation of two main projects - 1) the development of a strategic logistics plan (increasing efficiency, flexibility and sustainability of the logistics processes) and 2) managing continuity and the transition of the logistic processes as some of them are transferred externally during this year (the physical flow of goods and administrative processing like ERP/WMS).

While developing the strategic plan, it is expected that market developments, technological innovations and changing customer needs will be taken into account. The emphasis is on optimization of the Supply Chain, cost reduction, increasing delivery reliability and robust risk management within the logistics chain.

Your responsibilities as a Logistics Manager:

  • Drawing up and implementing a project plan with a clear elaboration of all project phases, including planning, formation, budgeting and risk management.
  • Coordinating the required space with all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the relocation of logistics activities to the external location, including transport, storage and administrative handling.
  • Designing, implementing and optimizing renewed logistics processes, both physical and administrative.
  • Setting up the new logistics location (from layout to layout and operational commissioning).
  • Ensuring optimal connection of new processes to existing production and administrative systems.
  • Performing process analyses, identifying bottlenecks and improvement potential within logistics processes.
  • Drafting, documenting and updating process descriptions and work instructions yourself.
  • Performing data-driven analyses, both independently and with stakeholders, to substantiate project choices and decision-making.
  • Stimulating support, effective communication and change management within the organization.
  • Identifying and naming risks and bottlenecks, and providing them with appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting the progress and project results to clients and management.

Requirements for the role of a Logistics Manager:

  • HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or (technical) business administration.
  • Extensive experience as a project leader of complex logistics projects within a production environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of logistics processes, physical goods flows, administrative systems (ERP/WMS), automation and warehouse mechanization.
  • Experience with the realization and design of (new) logistics locations.
  • Excellent communication skills, connector and easily able to switch at various levels within the organization.
  • Analytically strong, result-oriented, systematic, stress-resistant and data-driven.
  • Experience in performing analyses and drawing up process descriptions and work instructions.

IMPORTANT:

  • It is a short term project (until the end of the year 2026), however extension has not been ruled out.
  • Freelance contract is possible in this role.
  • It is a part time opportunity (3 days per week; 24 hours/week), on which presence on-site is required.

⚠️ Due to the nature of the work and applicable security requirements, only candidates with a nationality from a NATO member state can be considered for this position.
