AI is changing how our clients work, and they're increasingly asking us for more than just engineers. We're investing in a new arm of the business to meet that demand, and this role is one of the first senior hires in that team.

About the role

We're launching a new offering at Proxify: we design, build and run AI agent workflows for our clients.

Think of this as a forward-deployed role. You embed with the client, understand their workflow deeply, decide where an agent actually belongs, and prototype fast in front of them. You own the outcome end-to-end, with an engineer from the Proxify network supporting the deeper build.

You'll be one of the first to deliver this for our clients, which means you also help shape and grow the offering itself, working closely with our commercial team.

What you'll do

• Own the delivery of agentic workflows for Proxify clients in various industries
• Visit clients for discovery work: map workflows, find where agents add real leverage, rule out where they don't.
• Translate that into clear, scoped projects the client and the engineers can both commit to
• Partner with an engineer from the Proxify network to deliver the workflow
• Help us sharpen the offering as we go
• A lot happens remotely, but onsite client visits at the right moments will be a key component of the work.

You're a fit if you are

• Strong at discovery work, ideally from PM, Technical PM, EM or tech lead roles where you owned the problem, not just the backlog
• Comfortable working closely with clients, being the senior person in the room, guiding them to the right solution
• Technical and hands-on enough to build a lot of the solution yourself (engineers from our network supporting on the deeper technical parts)
• Have shipped something with LLMs or agents, in production or as a serious prototype
• Understand current agent capabilities well enough to know what's a good fit and what isn't
• Bias to ship. You’d rather have a rough working thing in front of a client by Friday than a perfect spec next week

Practicalities

• We are open to both freelance and full-time employment
• Based in Europe with proximity to a large airport, open to regular travel to client sites
