The Role

Join a growing tax advisory firm as Senior Manager - Advisory (Brisbane CBD) where you'll lead complex tax strategy engagements, build high-performing advisory teams, and help mid-market businesses navigate sophisticated tax planning across structuring, compliance, and strategic advice.

This role is built on real tax expertise. You'll be working across tax strategy, business structuring, Div 7A planning, and advisory - helping clients optimise their tax position while managing compliance obligations strategically.

What You'll Do

• Lead tax advisory engagements on complex structuring, Div 7A, CGT and FBT strategies
• Mentor and develop junior tax advisors
• Build relationships with business owners, accountants and tax professionals
• Advise on business restructuring, entity planning and tax-efficient wealth strategies
• Contribute to firm service development and advisory offerings
• Stay across tax legislation changes and advisory opportunities

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years in tax advisory or accounting with deep tax knowledge
• Proven experience leading complex tax engagements and managing teams
• Strong expertise in Div 7A, CGT planning, FBT and business structuring
• Track record of building client relationships and winning advisory work
• Strategic mindset - you understand how tax strategy connects to overall business outcomes
• Strong communication skills (presenting tax strategy to business owners and accountants)
