What does an IT Helpdesk Officer do, you ask?
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Support Manager, you'll be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end users within the organisation. You would cover both Level 1 and Level 2 support across our cloud based environment, predominantly on Microsoft 365, user access and end user device management. Other duties may also include;
- Providing technical support in person, over the phone and email allowing reach to all of our staff
- Log, track and rectify support requests through our ticketing system, triaging based on business impacts
- Support with onboarding, role changes and offboarding in collaboration with HR and IT teams
- Administer user accounts with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure ID), support with MFA and resets/access related queries
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- 1-3 years experience in Level 1/Level 2 support environment
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune
- Relevant qualifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, Microsoft are advantageous
