Position Overview

We are looking for a sharp, relationship-driven professional to build connections and generate real deal flow within the commercial real estate and lending space.

This is a hands-on role focused on sourcing actionable opportunities through relationships - NOT a commission-based sales position.

This role focuses on building relationships with commercial real estate lenders, brokers, attorneys, and sponsors to source distressed debt, note sales, and off-market investment opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial real estate lenders, brokers, attorneys, and industry professionals
  • Source distressed debt, note sales, and off-market real estate opportunities
  • Attend networking events, meetings, and industry functions
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of real, actionable deal opportunities
  • Follow up consistently and maintain ongoing relationships
  • Represent the firm in meetings and external interactions
  • Coordinate with internal team to move opportunities into underwriting and execution


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, lending, or a related field
  • Experience working with lenders, brokers, or real estate professionals preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with industry professionals
  • Sharp, detail-oriented, and able to think critically about opportunities
  • Comfortable working with data, researching properties, and using online tools to identify borrowers, lenders, and deal context
  • Basic understanding of real estate transactions and financing concepts
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and pipeline management abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and tools
  • Professional presence and ability to represent the firm externally

This role requires someone who is both relationship-driven and detail-oriented — not just a pure salesperson.
