Description
We are recruiting for Cargo Sales Support Agent for Singapore.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manages, Account Managers, and Regional Product Managers in their daily sales tasks for the assigned region, adhering closely to established processes and policy guidelines to facilitate QR revenue generating sales activities. Act as Qatar Airways Cargo sales process expert by supporting with daily sales operations tasks, including but not limited to global and local accounts support, managing sales systems and keeping input up-to-date (e.g. Salesforce), and ensuring that activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Manage customer quotation requests throughout the complete process flow, from receiving the quotation request until materialization follow-up.
Accountabilities
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for sales operations functions established to ensure alignment to QR Cargo’s global sales/ sales operations principles.
- Act as product knowledge expert for sales support tasks, supporting in more complex tasks.
- Assist Senior Account Managers with their queries and escalations to ensure efficiency and quality services.
- Maintain and generate reports as required by reporting Line Manager.
- Be the primary person in following up on internal questions related to sales management tools and input, reports etc.
- Support the sales team in maintaining and up-to-date database of trade partners within the region. Provide line managers and regional management with regular reporting on key departmental performance metrics, outstanding issues.
- Able to work with sales tools like Power BI, Salesforce, WACD data etc.
- Assist with the local cargo manager and the sales team with client relationship management, including preparing proposals and supporting documentation and data.
- Support the regional and global sales initiatives by coordinating activities, tracking deliverables, and communicating status updates.
- Guide new joiners in QR processes and policies, to ensure smooth operations within the department.
Qualification
- High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Knowledge of TACT and IATA DGR Manual is a plus
- Experience in any of these fields: sales support, group sales, tariffs, distribution, business analysis.
- PC literate with very good knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills, efficiency-oriented mindset.
