Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role, for an Account Manager specializing in Home Health Care. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and serving as the primary point of contact. Responsibilities include overseeing billing, resolving billing discrepancies, communicating with both clients and insurance providers, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves developing solutions to improve client satisfaction and addressing financial and operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship management, account management, and client support skills
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing processes, value-based care billing models, and compliance with New York’s healthcare regulations
• Experience in accounts receivable management and resolving billing discrepancies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interaction
• Ability to develop solutions and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
• Proficiency in healthcare billing software (WellSky, Kinnser, ECW etc) and general technical aptitude
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in home health care or medical billing is a plus
