The VP Finance/ CFO BU is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving growth, profitability, and cash performance in TAKKT’s largest business unit, the Industrial & Packaging Division. Working closely with and reporting to the CFO, this role acts as the key finance partner to the Divisional President.
The VP Finance/ CFO BU ensures transparency through a single source of truth, builds a high-performing finance organization, and enables data-driven decisions for short- and long-term value creation. The role also oversees compliance, statutory accuracy, fraud prevention, and supports TAKKT’s transformation toward digitalization, harmonization, and operational excellence.
Where You Make An Impact:
- Lead financial strategy to deliver growth, profitability, and cash‑generation, and full statutory and accounting compliance across all regions
- Lead major finance transformation programs across regions and functions
- Play a central role in TAKKT’s digital and finance transformation agenda, including building a modern finance function
- Develop and implement an AI‑driven finance strategy to enhance intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and decision support
- Drive value creation initiatives focused on profitability management, operational efficiency, and cash discipline
- Strengthen FP&A capabilities through improved data quality, advanced forecasting, and enhanced analytical rigor
- Ensure transparency, accuracy, and a unified financial data landscape with a single source of truth across I&P
- Oversee the division’s accounting results across the regions, take accountability and ensure statutory accuracy including delivery on financial targets
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accounting requirements
- Maintain strong internal controls, risk‑management processes, and fraud‑prevention systems
- Safeguard company assets and ensure audit readiness across the division
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, ELT, and IPLT
- Support and challenge the business to ensure profitable and compliant decision‑making
- Foster collaboration and best‑practice sharing across teams, divisions, and partner companies

- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in an industrial, packaging, or B2B distribution environment
- Proven track record in financial steering, forecasting accuracy, and value creation through strong business partnering and process optimization
- Experience in ERP implementations and driving systems harmonization
- Strong ability to drive digitalization, automation, and data-driven processes within finance
- Experience leading finance teams across multiple locations and building high-performing organizations
- Several years of accounting expertise with IFRS, German GAAP (HGB), and additional local accounting standards from other European countries
- Expertise in compliance, internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive and board level
- Strong leadership mindset anchored in empowerment, transparency, and accountability
- Fluent in English; German is a strong asset
