Industry Sales Manager

This a fully remote position targeting the Western US Region.
As the Industry Sales Manager, a typical day may include:
- Promote full TE portfolio EMC solutions for all applications.
- Drive brand awareness and position TE solutions & capabilities with our customers
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers to drive/increase sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience solving customer challenges
- Develop sales opportunities and assist in developing the pipeline for future sales activity through daily interactions with customers.
- Learn the customer applications and work with customer engineering teams to solve their designs with TE solutions.
- Learn the key customer’s challenges, needs, requirements, capture their voice so TE can be the solution provider even if that means to create new products or modifications to existing products.
- Respond professionally to inquiries from customers.
- Develop and execute on growth strategies to align to account plan(s) for growth to TE
- Electrical Engineering degree or another similar engineering or technical degree
- 5+ years’ experience in consultive sales role working with OEM’s and Distribution Channel partners
- 5+ years’ experience managing manufacturing sales representative agencies
- 25-50% travel required
- Strong communicator (verbal, written, spoken) with strong listening skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, credible relationships with our customers
- Self-motivated with a focus to serving and helping customers
- Problem solving, critical thinking, and project management skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities
- Creativity to see alternatives and ability to show TE’s Value proposition.

Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $107,200 - $160,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
