We are currently seeking a driven and like-minded professional to join us in SG as:-
Key Account Manager, Industrial.
In this role, you will lead Industrial Solutions (IS) sales activities in Singapore by actively promoting GF’s solutions and services, strengthening our market leadership as the preferred provider of thermoplastic piping systems. You will play a key role in sustaining GF’s position as a trusted and innovative solutions partner within the Microelectronics industry, while delivering on assigned sales revenue and margin targets across key IS segments, including Microelectronics, Power Generation, and Chemical Processing.
Main Task
Market Development & Forecasting
Identify and forecast sales potential within the Industrial Solutions (IS) market. Take full accountability for achieving assigned sales targets and driving sustainable growth.
Market & Competitor Insights
Continuously monitor and assess market trends, customer behaviours, and the activities of key stakeholders—including end users, consultants, designers, channel partners, and competitors. Translate these insights into effective marketing strategies and actionable sales initiatives.
Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers by understanding their operational needs and recommending targeted GF solutions. Leverage account insights to broaden engagement and maximise overall sales potential.
New Business Development
Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business prospects and opportunities across relevant industry segments. Expand GF’s presence in both existing and untapped markets.
Customer Service & Operations Collaboration
Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to address service issues, ensure fulfilment reliability, and provide accurate input for stock planning and demand forecasting.
CRM Discipline & Sales Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activities in the CRM system, including customer data management, visit planning, timely submission of visit reports, and updates on project pipelines and opportunity status.
Job Requirement, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Sales and/or technical experience (minimium 4 to 5 years) with excellent knowledge of IS industry; experience in the ME industry is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in achieving or exceeding sales targets in ME/Chem-related markets; prior sales experience in related products (e.g. pumps, valves, instruments, etc) for similar industries will be considered
- Prior experience in project sales in ME/Chem-related industries
- Possess a strong understanding of the expectations and requirements of the ME/Chem industry
- Good network and relationships with key players in the ME/Chem industry; ME industry preferred
- Ambitious and possess a "hunter" mentality; always on the look-out for sales opportunities and willing to prospect with the right stakeholders
- Strong communication skills (internally and externally) with strong team player approach.
- Proficient in project management with service focus.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in sales and business development for major projects (value exceeding SGD 500K) for Industrial ( ME/Chem/UPW/WWT) related projects.
