Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Account Manager based in Collinsville, IL,. The Account Manager will oversee client accounts, build strong relationships with policyholders, and ensure customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing client inquiries, developing insurance solutions, handling policy renewals, addressing claims, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services. The Account Manager will work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for clients. Compensation will be a healthy hourly rate plus commission on new business transactions. The hourly rate will be based on experience.


Qualifications

  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and relationship management.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance products, policy administration, and claims processing is preferred but not required.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Sales: Ability to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and promoting insurance products to meet customer needs.
  • Organizational Skills: Competence in managing multiple accounts, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other digital tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to address client issues proactively and provide effective solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Previous experience in account management, insurance, or a related field is a must.
