Job Requirements
- Independent management of all commercial topics for the account, with a focus on revenue, profitability, sustainable growth, and CRM maintenance
- Handling and commercial management of RFQs and development projects, as well as quotation costing across the entire sales funnel (from RFI/RFQ through to SOP)
- Preparation, conduct, and closure of price and contract negotiations within defined mandates, including structured escalation to management level
- Active identification, development, and prioritization of new business opportunities within the customer organization
- Proactive management of change requests and commercial adjustments during the project lifecycle
- Maintenance of customer-specific systems and tools (e.g. B2B tools)
- Independent processing and tracking of tooling and LEK invoicing
- Maintenance and further development of strong customer relationships at both operational and management levels; providing technical and commercial advisory support
- Monitoring market developments from a customer and competitive perspective
- Preparation of forecasts, reports, and commercial decision-making bases for management; creation and delivery of internal and external presentations
- Development and implementation of account-specific strategies and growth plans; realization of departmental and company objectives
- Close collaboration and coordination with internal interfaces such as Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure commercial and operational feasibility
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, with 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in automotive sales
- Strong commercial acumen with in-depth experience in pricing, contract management, and financial KPIs
- Experience in challenging negotiations with global OEMs and direct OEM exposure within a Tier 1 / Tier 2 supplier environment
- High level of initiative and proactivity in identifying and driving business opportunities
- Strong ownership mindset with clear end-to-end responsibility and decisiveness
- Very high level of personal accountability and assertiveness, combined with a strong results- and execution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
- Confident performance in complex, matrix-organized corporate structures
- Business-fluent English and German, both written and spoken
- Solid understanding of OEM architectures and applications, ideally in the area of e-mobility connectivity
- Experience in managing complex RFQ processes and cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel up to 25–50% with high on-site presence at the customer in Stuttgart or at TE locations
