TradeLaneTalent is supporting a major logistics company on two Strategic Key Account Management openings within the international logistics and transportation sector.


These are client facing roles for experienced freight forwarding professionals who know how to manage complex accounts, navigate pricing conversations, solve operational issues, and build long term customer relationships.


If you come from the airfreight or international logistics world and enjoy being the quarterback between the customer, operations, and pricing teams, this is the type of role worth looking at.

Schedule:

Hybrid


Compensation:

$85,000–$120,000 base salary plus bonus tied to account profitability and growth


What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across airfreight and international logistics accounts

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers and act as a trusted advisor

• Work closely with pricing and operations teams on quotes, rates, margins, service solutions, and account strategy

• Support customer retention, profitability, and long term account growth

• Handle escalations, service challenges, and day to day account management responsibilities

• Participate in customer reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning initiatives

• Identify opportunities for additional services and expansion within existing accounts


What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience within airfreight, freight forwarding, international logistics, or supply chain services

• Prior experience in account management, strategic account management, customer success, or logistics operations tied to customer accounts

• Strong understanding of international transportation, pricing structures, and service execution

• Ability to work cross functionally with pricing, operations, and commercial teams

• Strong communication, relationship management, and problem solving skills

• Someone comfortable managing fast moving customer relationships in a deadline driven environment
