Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, assisting with inquiries, policy changes, claims support, and overall customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of insurance products and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Provide information about insurance policies, coverage options, billing, and claims processes.
- Assist customers with policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements.
- Process claims information, coordinate with claims adjusters, and follow up on claim status updates.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and claims departments to ensure seamless customer service.
- Educate customers on insurance products and services to help them make informed decisions.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products in alignment with customer needs.
- Stay current with industry regulations, company policies, and product updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, policies, and claims processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and patience.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
