ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking for Seniors Back-End .NET Developer.

Our client is an IT consulting and technology services firm that supports organizations in designing and delivering digital solutions. The company works with public and private sector clients, implementing systems integration projects, and driving digital transformation initiatives.

  • 📌 Location: Athens City Center – Easily accessible by Metro
  • 📍 Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in the office 2 days from home)
  • 🖋️ Reporting to: Digital Services Manager

What will you do:

As a Back-Εnd .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available backend systems in cloud environments using the .NET / C# ecosystem. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices with a strong focus on clean architecture and domain-driven design, while actively contributing across the full end-to-end development lifecycle from requirements analysis and system design to CI/CD, observability, and production support.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Designing and developing RESTful APIs, including versioning strategies, pagination and filtering, rate limiting, idempotency, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and contract-first approaches.
  • Defining and evolving backend architectures, applying microservices or modular monolith patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS where appropriate, and event-driven architectures.
  • Designing and optimizing database solutions, working with SQL and NoSQL systems, query optimization, indexing, transactions, concurrency control, and schema migrations.
  • Building and operating cloud-based services, deploying and running applications on Azure or AWS (depending on the stack), leveraging containerization and managed cloud services.
  • Ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability, using caching strategies, asynchronous processing, resiliency patterns (retries, circuit breakers), load testing, and performance profiling.
  • Implementing security best practices, including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT-based authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), secure secrets management, and OWASP guidelines.
  • Supporting DevOps and observability practices as needed, including basic CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure considerations.

Recruitments:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong expertise in .NET / C# and ASP.NET Core, building production-grade backend services and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering RESTful APIs in scalable systems.
  • Solid understanding of backend architectures, such as microservices or modular monolith.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and working familiarity with NoSQL solutions.
  • Good understanding of Clean Architecture, DDD, and common design patterns. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of application security, including OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Ability to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages
