MHW Search has exclusively partnered with a CRE Private Equity firm with over $8 billion in AUM across Medical Office and Industrial. We are searching for a Senior Acquisitions Analyst to join their Medical Office platform.
The Senior Analyst will be actively involved in financial analysis, market research, and transaction execution, working closely with senior team members across all phases of the investment lifecycle. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to deepen their experience across both acquisitions and development within the healthcare real estate sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for prospective acquisitions and development projects, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and return metrics
• Support the evaluation of investment opportunities through market research, comparable analysis, and underwriting of key assumptions
• Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums, presentations, and supporting materials for internal review and Investment Committee discussions
• Participate in transaction execution, including coordination of due diligence activities, review of third-party reports, and tracking of closing deliverables
• Analyze leases, tenant credit, and operating performance to inform investment decisions and underwriting assumptions
• Support development initiatives by assisting with project budgeting, timeline tracking, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams including asset management, development, accounting, and capital markets to support investment execution and ongoing asset performance
• Monitor and analyze healthcare real estate market trends, including MOB fundamentals, tenant demand drivers, and competitive positioning
• Assist senior team members in managing relationships with brokers, owners, developers, and other market participants
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field
• 3+ years of previous analyst experience in commercial real estate, corporate finance or investment banking
• Exceptional financial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Argus Enterprise experience required
• Familiarity with real estate pro formas, capital stacks, and investment return metrics
• Solid understanding of real estate financial concepts including DCF, NPV and cash flow analysis
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present analysis and recommendations
• Experience with healthcare real estate assets preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
