ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, is in search of a Senior Procurement Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods, services, and capital projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and value creation while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement activities related to large-scale projects, including capital expenditures, renovations, and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably within the construction, real estate development, or architectural sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing complex procurement projects and negotiating high-value contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in supplier selection, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
