ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, is in search of a Senior Procurement Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods, services, and capital projects across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and value creation while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage procurement activities related to large-scale projects, including capital expenditures, renovations, and operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably within the construction, real estate development, or architectural sectors.
- Proven track record in managing complex procurement projects and negotiating high-value contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in supplier selection, contract administration, and risk management.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
