Project Scope:

Seeking an experienced SAP Basis /Infrastructure Architect to provide SAP Basis administration, infrastructurearchitecture guidance, and enterprise SAP environment support for large-scaleSAP systems operating in Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server environments.The selected consultant will support installation, configuration, upgrades,enhancement packs, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ongoingadministration of SAP and third-party applications across a complexmulti-system enterprise landscape.

The environment includes ECC 6.0 EHP8 onNetWeaver 7.5, SRM 7.04, BW 7.5, PI 7.5, SOLMAN 7.2, Fiori Launchpad/Gateway onNetWeaver 7.52, and Business Objects 4.3. The consultant will support SAParchitecture, system enhancements, transport management, system refreshes,infrastructure optimization, production support, and enterprise solutiondelivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide SAP Basisadministration and infrastructure architecture support across enterprise SAPlandscapes
• Perform SAPABAP/Java installations, configurations, upgrades, enhancement packs, supportpacks, and OSS note implementations
• Support SAPNetWeaver administration across ECC, BW, SRM, PI, SOLMAN, Fiori, and BusinessObjects environments
• Manage SAP systemcopies, client refreshes, transport management, and landscape synchronizationactivities
• Analyze systemrequirements and recommend SAP architecture and infrastructure improvements
• Perform workloadanalysis, performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
• Establish andmaintain SAP system health checks, OSS connections, and EarlyWatchconfigurations
• Support SAPdeployments within Microsoft Windows Server 2012–2025 and SQL Server 2014–2019environments
• Provide technicalleadership and consulting support for SAP implementation and enhancementinitiatives
• Assist with SAPsolution design, roadmap planning, and test strategy development
• Support VMwarevirtualization and HP infrastructure environments
• Coordinate withfunctional, development, integration, and production support teams
• Maintain optimaldisk layouts, file systems, OS tuning, and database performance improvements
• Investigate andevaluate new SAP technologies and third-party SAP integration solutions
• Supportintegrations with Vertex, BSI, Adobe Forms, Nakisa, Business Objects, DocBuilder, and other SAP bolt-on solutions
• Develop andmaintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operationalprocedures
• Provide peermentoring, knowledge transfer, technical training, and classroom instruction
• Communicateproject risks, issues, and status updates effectively to leadership andstakeholders
• Participate inenterprise SAP project planning, implementation, and production supportactivities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years ofexperience in SAP Basis Administration and SAP Architecture
• 10+ years ofexperience with ABAP/Java SAP software installation and configuration
• 10+ years ofexperience with SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, support packs, OSS notes, andtroubleshooting
• 5+ years ofexperience supporting SAP NetWeaver environments
• 5+ years ofexperience supporting SAP Public Sector implementations
• Strong experiencewith SAP ECC 6.0, BW, SRM, PI, SOLMAN, Fiori, and Business Objects
• Extensiveexperience with Windows Server 2012–2025 administration
• Strong experiencewith Microsoft SQL Server 2014–2019 environments
• Experience withSAP transport management, client copies, system refreshes, and multi-systemlandscapes
• Strong SAPperformance tuning, workload analysis, and monitoring experience
• Experience withVMware virtualization environments
• Experience withSAP infrastructure architecture and solution design
• Strongtroubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experiencesupporting enterprise production environments and mission-critical SAP systems
• Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills
• Strongleadership, mentoring, and documentation skills
