Primary Responsibilities
Define the Market Vision and Product Strategy
- Craft and champion a clear product vision and multi-year product strategy
- Translate market needs, payer feedback, and competitive intelligence into actionable product direction
- Align product investments to deliver customer value, revenue growth, and market differentiation
- Partner with other Product Managers in the portfolio to ensure product decisions support both scalability and client success
- Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, well-defined requirements, and prioritized outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, analytics, and operations to deliver data-driven solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience
- Drive prioritization, balancing innovation, technical debt reduction, and operational scalability
- Ensure product launches are timely, high-quality, and aligned to go-to-market goals
- Define and monitor KPIs tied to adoption, financial performance, and client outcomes
- Partner with analytics and finance teams to evaluate product ROI and inform future investments
- Use data and user feedback to continuously refine strategy, features, and market positioning
- Partner with go-to-market, sales, and marketing teams to drive product adoption and expansion across payer clients
- Support pricing, packaging, and positioning in collaboration with the Director of Product and GTM leadership
- Identify and scale client-proven innovations to the broader market
- Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive shifts to identify emerging opportunities and risks
- Translate evolving market dynamics into forward-looking roadmap updates
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record owning and delivering complex products or initiatives end to end, from strategy through execution
- Proven extensive experience in product management, product strategy, and/or business transformation
- Proven experience defining product vision and roadmaps and driving measurable business and client outcomes in competitive markets
- Demonstrated ability to be comfortable influencing across multiple teams and senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
- Demonstrates solid experience working within Agile software development practices, including prioritization frameworks and customer centric design
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, translating unclear or evolving business goals into clear, prioritized product initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, customer insight, and business context to guide product decisions
- Proven experience collaborating with AI/ML, analytics, and data science teams to deliver intelligent, data driven solutions
- Possesses solid analytical and systems thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex problems into clear product strategies
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with impact and confidence, demonstrating executive presence across technical and business audiences
- MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy, technology, or product leadership
- Product or Agile certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar
- Proven experience in U.S. healthcare, particularly in payment integrity, claims, provider revenue cycle, risk adjustment, or quality domains
- Proven experience launching and scaling products in data intensive, cloud based, or AI enabled platforms
- Proven hands on experience integrating AI into product design, development, or ongoing management
- Demonstrated ability to extract actionable insights from large, heterogeneous datasets
- Proven experience leading or mentoring other product professionals, or partnering closely with engineering leaders to deliver outcomes (not just outputs)
- Demonstrated experience leading senior level presentations, workshops, or stakeholder forums
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Optum and/or UnitedHealth Group
