About the Role: 

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Arnott’s snacking portfolio, working on some of Australia’s most loved and iconic brands. 

As an Assistant Brand Manager – Sweet, you’ll play a hands‑on role in driving brand strategy, innovation and execution to deliver sales, profitability and market share growth. Working across the full marketing mix, you’ll partner closely with category, sales, finance and supply chain teams to bring bold ideas to life and ensure seamless execution from concept through to launch. 

This role is ideal for a curious, creative and commercially minded marketer who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast‑paced FMCG environment and wants to make a tangible impact on brands Australians know and love. 

This role will be based at our North Strathfield office. 

 

What your days look like: 

• Supporting the development and execution of brand strategy aligned to business growth objectives 
• Owning brand performance across the full marketing mix, analysing results and identifying growth opportunities 
• Leading end‑to‑end NPD, including stage gate management, forecasting, artwork design and in‑market launch 
• Championing consumer and shopper insights to inform innovation, communications and portfolio decisions 
• Leading packaging projects and briefing agencies to deliver standout creative and communications 
• Managing brand budgets and financials, including P&L input and A&C spend 
• Partnering cross‑functionally with Sales, Category, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure flawless execution 
• Tracking innovation performance post‑launch and implementing support plans as required 

 

The Ingredients for Success: 

Just like great snacking needs the right balance, there are a few essential ingredients we’re looking for: 

• Degree qualified in Business, Commerce or Marketing 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Brand Management role within FMCG 
• Proven experience leading NPD and packaging projects end‑to‑end 
• Strong understanding of the marketing mix, from strategy through to execution 
• Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and financials 
• Strong analytical capability, including use of scan and shopper data (e.g. Nielsen, Circana, Quantium) 
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders 
• A creative, curious and adaptable mindset with high attention to detail
