About Fearless
We make swimwear for the everyday woman. Designed and tested on hundreds of real women, Fearless exists to help women have the confidence to show up and make memories. A swimsuit is the least amount of fabric you'll wear in public - it should work for your body, not against it.
We're less than 1 year old and already Australia's fastest-growing swimwear brand, with thousands of happy customers across the globe.
The role
We need someone to own product development and production. That means shaping what we make next and then getting it made - from concept and development through sampling, bulk, and delivery. You'll work with our manufacturer partners, garment development studio, and 3PLs in Australia and the US (future).
On the product side, you'll help build seasonal ranges, brief new styles, manage tech packs, and make sure what comes back from the factory matches what was designed. On the production side, you'll own the critical path, chase suppliers, coordinate fabric and trims, and keep timelines from slipping. When something goes sideways, you're the one who sorts it before it hits the rest of the business.
This could be a full or part-time role with a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Helping shape seasonal ranges alongside our founders - what styles, what fabrics, what's missing
- Managing tech packs, fit comments, and sample approvals with our garment development studio
- Running production timelines and supplier communication
- Coordinating sampling, lab dips, strike-offs, and QC across pre-production and bulk
- Tracking orders from PO through to warehouse delivery
- Keeping production docs current: POMs, costing sheets, delivery schedules
- Flagging delays early and fixing problems before they compound
- Working with our e-com and marketing team on stock availability and launch timing
- Feeding lead-time, capacity, and costing info into buying decisions
You'll need:
- Experience in swimwear/stretch/intimate apparel product development and garment production.
- A solid grip on the full cycle: concept, development, sampling, bulk, QC, logistics.
- Experience with overseas and/or local manufacturers.
- An eye for product. You understand fit, fabric, and what makes a good garment- not just the logistics of getting it made.
- Strong organisation. The kind of person who actually likes a well-maintained spreadsheet.
- Clear communication. You'll be talking to suppliers, freight partners, designers, and our internal team daily.
- Comfort working independently. We don't hover.
- Experience working with Chinese manufacturers
- Production management across multiple markets (AU, US)
- GS1 barcoding, fabric testing, or R&D processes
- DTC or e-commerce background (not just wholesale)
Why this role?
You get real ownership of a function that directly affects whether the business runs or stalls. Our team is small, decisions happen fast, and we're flexible on when and where you work as long as things land on time.
