Senior Account Manager
Indexed description
Having recently announced our $45m series B, now couldn't be a better time to join!
The role
We're hiring a Senior Enterprise Account Manager based in New York City to own and grow a portfolio of our most strategic accounts.
This is a commercial role in the truest sense. You'll be working with some of the most complex financial institutions in crypto, banks, stablecoin issuers, asset managers, and DeFi innovators, and you'll be responsible for understanding their business deeply, navigating their organisations, and finding genuine ways to grow the relationship over time. If you're looking for a passive relationship management role, this isn't it.
What You'll Do
- Own a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts properly, that means renewal planning, expansion strategy, and executive engagement, not just keeping the lights on
- Build account plans that actually mean something, stakeholder maps, whitespace analysis, mutual action plans, and success criteria that both sides care about
- Find and close expansion opportunities in partnership with Solution Consultants and Advisory teams, you won't be doing this alone, but you'll be leading it
- Stay ahead of renewals, spot risk early, and have a plan ready before things become a problem
- Run executive-level conversations comfortably, QBRs, steering committees, roadmap sessions, and the occasional tricky escalation that needs a steady hand
- Feed what you're hearing from customers back into the business, Product and Engineering need to know what's happening on the ground, and you'll be the one who tells them
- Keep your forecasting and CRM discipline (HubSpot) to a high standard, this matters here
- Help bring on and develop more junior Account Managers as the team grows
- Has spent 7-10+ years in enterprise Account Management or expansion-focused roles in B2B SaaS, and has the scar tissue to show for it
- Has sold complex technology into large financial institutions and genuinely understands what it takes to get a deal done inside a major FI, the procurement cycles, the legal back-and-forth, the internal politics
- Comes with a real network inside financial institutions, warm relationships matter here and we'd love someone who can hit the ground running
- Has genuine crypto or digital asset experience, you don't need to have worked at an exchange, but you should understand how blockchains work and why compliance in this space is complicated
- Knows how to grow an account, not just hold it, and has the commercial instincts to back that up
- Is comfortable at every level of a conversation, whether that's a day-to-day contact or a C-suite stakeholder
- Is NYC-based and happy to be in front of customers regularly
Why join us
- You'll work with some of the most interesting accounts in institutional crypto and have real influence over how those relationships develop
- You'll have genuine commercial ownership, with the autonomy to manage your book the way you think is right
- You'll have a direct line to Product and Engineering, your customer insight will shape what we build
- Institutional crypto is moving fast right now, and the work you do here will matter
