Position Summary:


The Senior Manager, Account Management is responsible for monitoring their group on a day-to-day basis. They are responsible for providing strategic insights and input into the overall client strategy and media allocations. In addition, the Senior Manager, Account Management will be involved in developing overall media planning and analysis of non-digital media (broadcast, OOH).

This role is specifically for a popular global travel and hospitality client.


Responsibilities:

  • Understand marketplace dynamics/conditions and gain deeper understanding of client’s business (sales, competitors, targets)
  • Lead in the preparation, writing, and presenting of integrated media plans, proposals, and analysis that go beyond the brief and satisfy client objectives
  • Take the lead in managing client conversations and expectations
  • Actively participate in delivering strategic insight into 360 plan development and manage (plan) process and present plans to client
  • Utilize OMNICOM’s internal OMNI platform
  • Preparation and presentation of reports/analyses to clients
  • Key contact on client business with buyers/agencies, account group
  • Oversee daily systems and procedures
  • Manage client budgets and ensure they are on track.
  • Prepare media Point of View (POVs)/evaluations.
  • Source and evaluate proposals from media partners as required.
  • Contribute to strategic media planning discussions, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table
  • Responsible for accurate and timely client finance reports and budget control reports (BCRs).
  • Oversee training/mentoring of strategist level down
  • Ensure effective communication with buyers and account group
  • Group liaison with Manager/ Director of Strategy
  • Completion/management of performance evaluations for immediate group (Assistants, Strategists and Senior Strategists)


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Professional or educational background in Marketing and/or Advertising would give leverage to this application
  • Experience in leading integrated media planning projects and teams.
  • Experience within an integrated advertising agency. Knowledge of media research tools (e.g. Clear Decisions, Vividata, Neilson), and media tools (e.g. Prisma) will give leverage to this application
  • Client service oriented.
  • Curiosity, with a passion for continuous development.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
