About the Role
Our client is a leading global cloud technology provider, supporting enterprise customers across private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
They are now looking for a Private/Public Cloud Technical Account Manager to join their Budapest team. This position focuses on cloud operations, technical support, customer service management, issue resolution, migration support, and cloud infrastructure optimisation across enterprise environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on cloud operations, cloud delivery, technical support, or infrastructure engineering experience who enjoys working closely with enterprise customers and helping them build stable, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
You will support enterprise customers across both private cloud and public cloud environments.
For private cloud projects, you will:
- Manage and follow up on customer technical issues and escalations
- Support cloud stack upgrades and maintenance activities
- Review RFCs and assist with change management processes
- Prepare operational and service reports for customers
- Analyse cloud resource usage and provide optimisation recommendations
- Support customer visits and technical discussions when required
For public cloud environments, you will:
- Support customer application migration projects
- Assist with cloud service requirement management
- Monitor cloud resources and operational performance
- Provide recommendations around billing optimisation and architecture improvement
- Support operational reporting and customer service management activities
You will work closely with customers, cloud engineering teams, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure service quality, operational stability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience within cloud services, IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or enterprise technical support environments.
You should have:
- Experience handling technical issues, escalations, and customer-facing support
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud Stack, VMware, OpenStack, or similar technologies
- Experience in cloud O&M, technical support, cloud delivery, infrastructure operations, or customer success environments
- Understanding of service management and structured operational processes
Candidates from cloud vendors, managed service providers, enterprise infrastructure teams, or system integrators would all be highly relevant.
Preferred Experience
The following would be considered advantageous:
- Cloud O&M or cloud platform support experience
- Enterprise/VIP customer service management
- Cloud migration or cloud deployment project experience
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile/Scrum, ServiceNow, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience with cloud resource monitoring and optimisation
- Cost optimisation or cloud architecture optimisation experience
- Hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environment exposure
