Job Description (JD) Position Title: Temporary Staffing Services - Finance, Accounting & ERP Support Roles Client: Snohomish County Location: Snohomish County, Washington Job Type: Contract / Temporary / Project-Based Duration: Up to 3 Years + Possible 2-Year Extension About the Opportunity

Snohomish County is implementing a new county-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and is seeking qualified temporary professionals to support Finance, HR, Accounting, Payroll, and Technical departments during the transition.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals who can provide backfill support, ERP implementation assistance, and operational continuity.

  • Budget Analyst Senior I
  • Accounting Analyst Senior
  • Accounting Specialist
  • Payroll Technician II
  • Fiscal Systems Analyst Senior

Business / ERP Roles
  • Financial Business Analyst Senior
  • Technical Systems Specialist

Program Management
  • Account Manager (Vendor Side - Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities
  • Support County departments during ERP implementation and peak workload periods
  • Backfill permanent staff positions temporarily
  • Assist with finance, budgeting, payroll, and accounting operations
  • Analyze systems, workflows, and ERP processes
  • Coordinate with department managers and internal teams
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee records
  • Provide seamless integration into County operations

Required Qualifications General Requirements
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Experience in public sector / county / municipal environment preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing ERP transformation

Role-Specific Qualifications Financial Business Analyst Senior
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT preferred
  • 5+ years of systems/business analysis experience

Budget Analyst Senior I
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 6+ years of budgeting / financial analysis experience

Fiscal Systems Analyst Senior
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years accounting systems / automated finance systems experience

Technical Systems Specialist
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business / IT
  • 4+ years relevant accounting systems experience

Payroll Technician II
  • Associate Degree in Accounting / Business
  • 2+ years payroll/personnel experience

Accounting Specialist
  • Associate Degree in Accounting / Business
  • 2+ years accounting experience including payroll processing

Accounting Analyst Senior
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 4+ years professional accounting experience

Preferred Skills
  • ERP implementation experience (Oracle, SAP, Workday, Tyler, etc.)
  • Government finance operations knowledge
  • Advanced Excel / Reporting / Data Analysis
  • Payroll compliance experience
  • Process improvement mindset
