Sr Manager Product Management - Automotive Data Connectivity

She / he will partner closely with the regional Data Connectivity Product Management leaders and teams as well as key stake holders cross-functionally, especially, but not limited to regional and global leaders from Sales, Operations, Project and Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing and Product Engineering. The role has a dual focus on the strategic portfolio management and “hands-on” execution drive in terms of go-to-market and margin improvements.
The key tasks of the role to successfully getting the business to the next phase of growth, include:
- Strategic Portfolio Management for the global Data Connectivity Differential product portfolio by understanding the various regional (customer) requirements and aligning the different regional organizations on a single Differential Portfolio Strategy
- Foster best practice sharing between regions enabling successful margin improvements and revenue grows
- Enablement and support of regional project execution esp. on cross-regional and large strategic projects
- Build culture of continuous improvement, which leverages best practice processes and metrics to drive year-over-year improvements by partnering with operations including optimization of global manufacturing footprints as well as driving product management excellence
- Driving the coordination of go-to-market strategies and cross-regional and cross-functional activities
- Gaining market share with data connectivity differential products
- Build out product roadmaps in technically complex market environments, aligning with key accounts and create differentiation in target applications.
- Assess and articulate opportunities with new technological trends ensuring long-term continuous pipeline growth and enabling sales force to capture and secure new opportunities.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience combining several experiences, with at least 5 years in Product Management, in industry (Automotive Connectors, experience in Data Connectivity Products strictly preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years technical or business degree required; preference for advanced degree (MS, MBA).
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions and work successfully across various cultures
- Proven commercial and leadership track record to drive regional/global market share gains, including sales, operations, and engineering teams with significant customer exposure at senior executive level in a fast paced and changing environment with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Proven financial acumen in evaluating project and program financials and change management
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills in leading teams and managing cross-functional teams globally.
- Ability to effectively work under pressure in a global environment and to meet challenging targets.
- Demonstrated Experience successfully scaling newly launched product portfolios.
- Clear, strategic thinker with vision and the ability to execute on priorities.
- Up to 30% of domestic and international travel dependent on business needs are required.

Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $164,000 – 204,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
