Manager - R & D (Product & Category)

We’re looking for a Manager R & D (Product & Category ) from the home interiors industry who is ready to step into a bigger arena.

If you’ve spent 6–7+ years designing, managing a team of 4–5 people, shipping projects, handling vendors, and solving real-world site challenges — this could be your next evolution.

This role is about end-to-end ownership, not just design delivery.

What This Role Will Own :

• Lead the R&D function for our product/category portfolio
• Own OKRs for innovation, range development, and quality improvements
• Translate market insight into buildable, scalable product concepts
• Drive end-to-end project execution — from concept to roll out
• Manage and mentor a team of designers
• Collaborate closely with sourcing, category, sales & leadership
• You won’t just design.
• You will define what we build next.

Who This Is For :

• 6–8 years in home interiors / modular / building materials
• Experience managing a team of 4–5 designers
• Strong execution experience across design, materials and detailing
• Structured thinker who understands timelines, costs & feasibility
• Ready to move from “project designer” to “R&D owner”

You should be comfortable owning:

• Outcomes, not tasks

• OKRs, not just drawings

• Roadmaps, not just mood boards
