- Manage a book of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance business.
- Coordinate the renewal process, including tracking policy expirations, gathering underwriting information, and ensuring timely submission to carriers.
- Prepare accurate and complete insurance submissions, including supplemental forms, and loss runs.
- Market renewal and new business accounts to carriers, evaluate coverage options, and assist in negotiating terms and pricing.
- Bind coverage and ensure compliance with carrier requirements, surplus lines regulations, and internal procedures.
- Review issued policies for accuracy and completeness; identify discrepancies and facilitate corrections as needed.
- Serve as a trusted client resource by responding promptly to inquiries, explaining coverage, and advocating on behalf of clients.
- Maintain organized and accurate account documentation within agency management systems.
- Collaborate with Producers and Client Advisors to support client retention, cross-selling, and account growth.
- Stay current on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry trends.
- AMS360 experience strongly preferred.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance products and regulations. Construction experience strongly desired.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage large volumes of work while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Professional integrity, positive attitude, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Insurance designations and ability to generate additional revenue are a plus.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- 5 - 10 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training preferred.
- Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video, and in-person.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 10 pounds.
