Role Summary

The IT ERP Systems Analyst will serve as the primary support resource for ERP systems, acting as a key liaison between technical teams and business users. This role focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing ERP functionality while supporting business operations and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for ERP system users across multiple departments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, including transaction errors and system performance
  • Act as a liaison between end users, technical teams, and external vendors
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for ERP systems and their integrations
  • Support EDI processes, including diagnosing and resolving transaction failures
  • Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor system performance and optimize queries using SQL
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and system configurations
  • Support additional business applications as required


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Working knowledge of EDI processes and issue resolution
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to system support


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • 3–5 years of experience with IBM System i (AS400) and DB2
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in ERP systems or database technologies (asset)
