C-K Control Temp is seeking a Strategic Account Manager responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with very visible key commercial and light industrial clients within the HVAC/ Professional Mechanical Services Industry. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and positioning the company as a trusted partner for all systems, maintenance, and energy solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with strategic accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value HVAC clients
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Service, Construction) to deliver tailored HVAC solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development
  • Monitor project execution and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Analyze client needs related to energy efficiency, system performance, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and account performance metrics
  • Seek ou new sales opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and following up on company-provided leads.
  • Initiate contact with potential customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess existing systems, identify customer needs, and determine desired outcomes.
  • Explain the features and benefits of the company's products and services, addressing any customer concerns.
  • Present clear, accurate, and detailed proposals, contracts, and sales agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure a seamless transition for customers by coordinating with installation and service teams.
  • Strong collaboration with Operations and Leadership Teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and the sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and competitors to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and networking events.
  • Strive to consistently meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field and / or equivalent years of experience in a similar role (at least 8+ years)
  • Understanding of HVAC systems, products, and services is required to assist customers effectively.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HVAC selling experience.
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, presentation, and negotiation abilities, are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as strong interpersonal skills, to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are often required for on-site client visits.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and reliability.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • 50%-day Travel in NJ required
