The ideal candidate will be able to accurately identify the needs of both new and current customers to support their success with our product. This will be done by developing appropriate communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues customers may face.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams, providing responsive customer support.
· Manage customer orders, revisions, and contract changes while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
· Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, materials, and supply chain teams to meet customer expectations.
· Support quoting activities, including pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and NCNR terms.
· Identify and develop new sales opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
· Execute sales strategies by recommending wire harness, cable assembly, and related manufacturing solutions.
· Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotes, presentations, and maintain accurate CRM/ERP sales forecasts.
· Partner with internal departments, including engineering and accounting, to support manufacturability, profitability, and collections.
· Meet revenue and margin goals while supporting long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate or Technical School degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· 2+ years in a sales role at a manufacturing company or similar applicable experience.
· Direct experience managing key accounts and maintaining lasting customer relations.
· Requires knowledge of manufacturing, to include electronics manufacturing and distribution concepts and processes
· Experience working with sales software/customer management system (CRM, ERP)
· Understanding and experience developing a services engagement.
· Business acumen and experience working within and accelerating a selling cycle.
· Strong project management skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve advanced technical and logistical problems.
· Business development skills and an aptitude to articulate KSM’s value proposition and services approach to instill confidence in our clients and be viewed by the client as the preferred solution provider
· Effectively create, position, and execute high value/quality sales campaigns within current customers and new prospects.
· Effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
· Travel 2% annually.
