Front Office Power Trading AWS Cloud Engineer – Asset Optimization Platform (AOP)

Location: Germany

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Front Office Power Trading team and help build, operate, and continuously improve highly available, scalable cloud platforms within our Asset Optimization Platform (AOP).

What You’ll Work On:

• Designing and operating highly available AWS platforms and near real-time trading applications

• Building scalable microservices and live data services

• Managing Kubernetes / Amazon EKS production workloads

• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Building CI/CD pipelines with safe deployment and rollback strategies

• Improving observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting

• Driving resilience, reliability, and operational maturity across the platform

AWS | Kubernetes | Amazon EKS | Terraform | CloudFormation | Azure DevOps | CI/CD | Microservices | Monitoring & Alerting

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience

• Production experience with Kubernetes / EKS

• Experience with highly available and scalable systems

• Knowledge of microservices and near real-time data processing

• Experience operating production environments, incident management, and post-mortems

• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles

Experience in energy trading, asset optimization platforms, or live trading environments is highly valued.
