A well-established and growing professional services organization is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support strategic growth initiatives across its Texas offices, with a primary focus on Houston and The Woodlands. This role will work closely with executive leadership, attorneys, and cross-functional teams to drive business development efforts, increase market visibility, and support client engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute marketing and business development strategies across attorneys, practice groups, and office leadership
  • Support client development efforts, pitches, proposals, presentations, and client-facing events
  • Manage Texas-based marketing initiatives, including sponsorships, media relations, speaking engagements, and industry involvement
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal teams on strategic growth initiatives and market expansion efforts
  • Research market trends and identify opportunities for thought leadership, visibility, and business development
  • Oversee marketing collateral, website content, blogs, social media activity, legal survey submissions, and contact databases
  • Assist with planning and execution of events, presentations, and external communications initiatives


Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of marketing and business development experience within professional services (legal industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Experience supporting executives, attorneys, or client development initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within the energy or petrochemical sectors is highly preferred


Additional Details:

  • Primarily based in Houston with flexibility to work from The Woodlands office as needed
  • Full-time onsite schedule (5 days/week)
