Account Manager (Midwest – Milwaukee/Chicago Area)

Logistics: Remote with frequent onsite meetings with client in Milwaukee, WI

Candidates MUST be located in Wisconsin or Chicago, IL


About the Role

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to grow their client relationship with a key account in Milwaukee, WI. This is a high-ownership role responsible for the full client lifecycle—from relationship management to revenue growth and delivery alignment. You will expand a key existing account with a Fortune 500 client. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, operates independently, and takes full ownership of outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for enterprise clients
  • Build relationships with business and technology stakeholders (Director to CXO level)
  • Lead executive engagements including QBRs, roadmap discussions, and strategic reviews
  • Advocate for client needs while maintaining commercial alignment


Account Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute account plans (relationship mapping, pipeline, growth strategy)
  • Anticipate client priorities, budgets, and upcoming initiatives
  • Partner with internal teams to position solutions aligned to client needs
  • Identify and drive expansion and new business opportunities


Delivery & Client Success

  • Collaborate with global delivery teams to ensure successful execution
  • Proactively manage risks, escalations, and client expectations
  • Ensure alignment between client goals, delivery outcomes, and commercial commitments


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles within IT services, consulting, or technology
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts
  • Experience owning revenue or growth targets
  • Strong ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity
  • Ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions
  • Experience working with global/offshore teams
  • Based in Milwaukee, WI or the Greater Chicago area
