Job Overview – Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager

Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000/year + bonus

Location: Hillsborough County, NH

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Hybrid)


Atlantic Group is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager in Hillsborough County, NH for our client, supporting client service, policy management, and new business development within an insurance agency environment. This role focuses on managing a personal lines book of business, providing coverage recommendations, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting with a steady flow of client interaction and account management responsibilities.


Responsibilities as the Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:

  • Client Service: Manage a personal lines book of business and handle client inquiries related to home, auto, and umbrella insurance policies.
  • Policy Management: Review existing coverage and recommend policy options based on client needs and risk profiles.
  • Quoting: Prepare and present insurance quotes using carrier rating systems.
  • New Business: Quote and bind new personal lines policies from referrals and inbound leads.
  • Renewals: Manage policy renewals and remarket coverage to maintain retention.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand coverage and cross-sell additional insurance products.


Qualifications for the Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:

  • Licensure: Active Property and Casualty license is required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience within an agency setting is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, coverage options, and rating systems is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with agency management systems, including EPIC, is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively are required.
