As a Sr. Sales Engineer at dotCMS, you'll play a crucial role in helping customers, prospects and partners understand the value of dotCMS platform. With a focus on aligning their needs to the product's capabilities, your job is to become their trusted technical advisor. You will play a critical role through the evaluation process, bridging the gap between the product's technical intricacies and the organization’s requirements, and ultimately securing the technical win.
Requirements
- +5 years in Sales Engineering roles, selling within SaaS, or related industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with modern Front-end technologies such as NextJS, HTML, Vue, Angular, and/or React.
- Proven experience: Selling to IT, Developer and Marketing personas, Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, APIs, and integrations, Experience running POCs and product demos end-to-end, Experience with headless CMS, DXP, or adjacent martech (CDP, personalization platforms), Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Docker, and CSS frameworks, Experience selling into regulated industries — Financial Services, Healthcare, Telco, or Government, Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, Experience working with partners in both partner-led and partner-supported sales motions
- Availability to travel (30% of the time).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field. Equivalent experience would be considered.
